Lo and behold, it was sketches of distant lands, & books full of tall tales, that led Lewis to study the arts at Central Saint Martins & The Guildhall in London. British born, Lewis made the trek across the vast seas to New York City in 2006 to start a family. There they reside near the docks in Brooklyn, where Lewis can be found at his workbench polishing his creations to a shine. |
 Using the ancient processes of carving into wax & casting into brass, silver, & gold, Lewis first sketches & draws each design by hand. Sawing, engraving, hammering, & soldering the metals with precision & care, each LHN creation speaks to a bygone era - from the Roman through Byzantine & Victorian times, & from WWII trench art to sailor tattoos & Mexican motorbike culture.
