The cuff is inspired by sentimentality & antiquity with a ~ Bleeding Heart, Swallows, Skulls & Crossed Arrows.

The skull and the crossbones motif is important for both life and death, bringing back a value of the desecration of the body, which the wearer could identify with. You will die, this represents, so live life to its fullest and maximize your time, as this is what you will become.

The Swallow is a symbol used historically by sailors to show off their sailing experience. Of British origin in the early days of sailing, the bird was usually tattooed on the chest, hands or neck. It is also said that if the sailor drowns, the swallows will carry their soul to heaven.

The Cuff is entirely hand carved first in wax (as shown) and then cast into metal. As it is hand crafted in the same manner that jewelry makers have used for thousand of years, the design is trying to capture a relic of from a more romantic age and there for has an ancient quality to it.
